A man would come to the mall once or twice a month looking for his wife. Posing as a shopper, he'd browse the store wearing earphones over his head, but not plugged in to anything. He’d slowly move up and down each aisle, checking out clothes on the racks. His goal was to find out if she was working and what her job title might be—he knew it had something to do with fashion. As soon as he saw her name tag and realized what she did, he’d quickly walk off in search of another store where she wouldn't know him. Vadina, a thirty-six-year-old woman from a suburb in Pune, was shopping for a wedding dress at the same mall as her ex. She was surprised to see him there. Unbelievably, he brought his wife along as well. That day they were at the mall to get their son's bday gifts. This is what she had overheard on that fateful day: His wife said to him, "I want you to buy this for my son." He agreed, and she said, "Why don't you get this for us both?" He did so. She looked at the bill carefully and asked how much it cost. He said Rs 2000. "You know," she chuckled, "I only ask you to buy things for my son. I'll pay for this one." The man was shocked. "Why do you want me to buy something for both of us?" She said, "Because this is our secret, and we don't want anyone to know or find out that we're having an affair." With that, she walked away. Ten minutes later the woman came back and said, "Okay, I've found a shop that sells all-white dress with lace pearls and I'd like you to get one for me too. It's the same price as yours but they ship it from Kathmandu. It will take a week to deliver." He said okay and went to the cash counter to pay for his purchase. He got back and told her, "The store is closed now, so they won't be able to give me any." She said, "Okay, I'm waiting outside in the car with my son and his friends. If you don't bring one right away we'll tell them about our affair.” With that she walked away. A little later, she came back with a very sexy dress in her hands and handed it over to him saying that it is for him as well. He was shocked but he took it. She said, "Come to my house on Saturday and we'll wear these dress and go to a party. Don't tell me you don't want to go with me. After all, I'm your wife." He was shocked but he said yes. He left the mall with his wife not knowing about the secret he shared with his ex-girlfriend. Vadina was filled with joy. She laughed out loud as she walked away from the store wearing her wedding dress. The next day Vadina's friend called her up for a party at 5 PM that day. She cheerfully said, "Yes!"
